In preparation for PyCon Togo 2025, we launched a **month-long Python learning challenge** called **“30 Days of Python”**, designed to help participants build their skills and prepare for the conference. The challenge ran for **30 days**, following a structured program based on the **Foundry Skills curriculum**, covering Python from beginner to advanced levels.

Participants received **daily guidance by email and mentorship through our Discord server** ([https://pytogo.org/.discord](https://pytogo.org/.discord?utm_source=chatgpt.com)), where we also held **evening workshops** each day to discuss the day’s challenge, solve problems together, and support learners from A to Z.

#### **Participation and Completion**

* **Registered Participants:** 200
* **Completed the Challenge:** 90
* **Gender Distribution:** 30% female, 70% male
* **Skill Level:** Approximately 80% of all participants were beginners

**Recognition and Awards**

During the challenge, participants who actively engaged in the daily workshops and completed the exercises were **recognized for their dedication and performance**:

* **Awards:**
  * 2 girls stood out for their commitment and performance
  * 5 boys were recognized for their achievements

To celebrate all participants, **everyone who participated received a digital badge powered by Holopin**, which they could showcase to highlight their accomplishment in the challenge.

This initiative not only helped participants strengthen their Python skills but also **fostered engagement, collaboration, and motivation**, especially encouraging female participants to actively participate and complete the challenge.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://report.pytogo.org/pycon-togo-2025-post-conference-report/pre-conference-python-learning-challenge-30-days-of-python.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
